  • Fifth grade student project heads to nationals in the NSTA/ Toshiba ExploraVision Challenge

    Students in fifth through seventh grades participated in the 2021 NSTA/Toshiba ExploraVision Challenge, an experience affording students time to work collaboratively to design forward-thinking solutions to real world problems of today. One of our fifth grade teams was selected to represent or region in the National competition in April. In addition, Open Window School had 6 honorable mentions in fifth through seventh grades.

    Students Hear from Secretary of State Kim Wyman About Election Process

    Ms. Paulson's eighth grade humanities students engage in real world work that matters. In 2020, hot topics are elections, election safety, voter access, and civic engagement. Through their work with Teach with TVW, students were invited to ask Secretary of State Kim Wyman a few questions over a Zoom call about the upcoming election and civic engagement at the state level.
