Middle School Teams are Winners in the 2015 Youth Apps Challenge for Western Washington

On Saturday, winners of the Technology Alliance Youth Apps Challenge gathered for the awards ceremony and exhibited their apps at the Microsoft Conference Center in Redmond.

Out of six winning apps, three were from Open Window School. King 5 News invited our students to talk about their apps on Sunday morning. Each group gave a professional pitch for their idea which will soon be available in the Google Apps Store. Click here to watch the segment.

The winning seventh grade app teams are:

  • AppDaptation Evolution App by Emma Robinson & Ross Rutherford
  • Hatt Project by Eli Beilinson, Marcus Huttunen, Anna Bencke, & Ashley Ka
  • Sugar n' Spice by Lizzy Park, Sarah Smale, Benjamin Myerson, & Ayush Noori
