PARENTS & GUARDIANS ASSOCIATION (PGA)
The PGA strengthens our school by weaving together people, programs, and purpose. Led by dedicated volunteers, the group enhances student experiences, builds community, and champions the mission of Open Window.
WAYS TO ENGAGE WITH THE PARENT GUARDIAN ASSOCIATION
The Open Window Parent & Guardian Association (PGA) is the heart of family engagement at our school. Every parent and guardian is automatically a member, and opportunities to connect and contribute are always evolving.
Here are just a few of the ways families get involved:
- VOLUNTEERING: From classroom support to community events, there are options for every schedule and interest: on campus, at home, during the day, or in the evening.
- SOCIAL EVENTS: The PGA sponsors joyful gatherings throughout the year that help families connect, celebrate, and feel at home. These events range from exciting school-wide BBQs for the whole family, to smaller gatherings for coffee away from the kids.
- PARENT EDUCATION: Thoughtful programs offer insight into parenting gifted children, supporting emotional growth, and navigating school transitions.
- COMMUNITY SERVICE: Families join together in service projects that reflect our shared values and deepen our impact beyond the classroom.
- PARENT GUARDIAN COMMUNITY: At Open Window, parents are part of a vibrant, welcoming community. Families come from many backgrounds and often share similar hopes, questions, and experiences. Through events, conversations, and shared moments, parents find camaraderie and support.
